This is a good quality metal gate which is very easy to fit and provides an effective sturdy barrier to keep your child out of harm’s way. It features an easy one hand opening with automatic gate closure.

Quality UK brand, Safety 1st (Quick Close), bought 3 and only used 1. This listing is for 2 NEW and BOXED safety gates at €35/each.

It opens both ways, and has a slam-shut mechanism; it will close and lock behind you, the handle self-closes automatically.

Although the opening of the gate can easily be done with one hand (ideal when hands are full) by adults, the release feature is activated by a triple action and therefore impossible to be opened by small inquisitive hands.

It is a very sturdy metal gate with an approximate height of 32inch/81cm, which I consider to be an extra safety feature for adventurous toddlers.

N.B. Extensions can be bought if you require the gate to fit a wider opening, it can be extended upto 109cm.
